Persian Ceramic plate 30cm

This ceramic plate is handmade in the Persian city of Hamedan. Hamedan and its surroundings are famous for their artistic manufacturers. The plate has been fully handmade. After baking the ceramic it has been painted with tiny brushes to make its intricate pattern. The artists are able to make very symmetric patterns but a close observer will find tiny asymmetries in the pattern inherent to handmade art. This unique plate is beautiful as decoration but can also be used to serve food on. It is not suitable for warm or sticky food and you shouldn't put it in a dishwasher. We recommend serving dry things like cookies, candy or nuts from this plate so you'll only have to wipe it down gently to clean it. The plate comes with a standard to display it upright like on the pictures.
